W is for Wonder Woman by Mista-M W is for Wonder Woman by Mista-M
With this i was thinking modern Greek warrior, lots of people seem to go for the ancient look for Wonder Woman but I feel the Amazons would have advanced as a civilization regardless of being in isolation. I'm not sure of the extent of her invulnerability so I just gave her basic armor.

I was going to scrap the gold in favor of all silver, but the red and gold scheme just worked for me on the body armor, I drew a blank with the feet though.

Seeing as Wonder Woman is a given name I went with the eagle instead of the WW as an emblem - it just makes sense to me.

I don't mind the design , my question is why does Wonderwoman have a bulge?

This is close to my own personal design. I'd make the boots red, the shoulders covered in the 'superhero skintight' way than conspicuous shoulder pads, and all-silver/white than gold (tho' you mentioned that) - but you hit what I tried for on covering her top up and how it works WONDERS (hah) in giving her protection like a warrior would go for.

This design evokes a classic 'superhero' look to boot, yet is still recognizably Greek/Wonder Woman-y (not to mention the pants from the New 52 seem to refuse to be forgotten, and rightly so). Eliminating the stars was also a great idea to get rid of 'busy-ness' in the costume.

You did excellent, sir, and really ought be proud.

You know... I never really thought of it that way. On one hand, I have always loved the idea of bringing WW back to her greek roots, but something always seemed to be missing from the alt. designs that I have looked into.

Finally, however, the mystery has been solved! This design has both class and functionality, not to mention a downright masterful blend of ancient and modern.

Bravo

I second that.

The seamless blend of ancient greek aesthetic and technological advancement.

It's beautiful.

I also like the way you gave her a much more greek facial features than the typical caucasian supermodel look.

I love your thought process behind this design, but the result lacks panache or elegance.

I think it's the boots that are killing it for me, although I wouldn't mind a more ornate emblem. I really like the shoulder straps, though!

I love this design! Not only is it powerful and strong, but it also calls back to her greek roots which are so often ignored. Well done!

Excellent design. Love the "divergent civilization" look. And yes, it IS a better idea to advance Themiscyran tech and civilization as well. Kinda glad that my own redesign left that aspect ambiguous now, because I kinda want to go a similar-yet different route there...

Finally! I've seen to many people redesign Wonder Woman to be more Amazonian in dress, but they neglect the fact that their civilization would advance even in isolation. That also makes her look like less of a super heroine and more of an out of place character. You did a wonderful job (no pun intended ;p) on advancing her armor to reflect her Amazonian heritage, but still making her look like a modern heroine.

This is a good wonder woman not too revealing and yet very casual. there are plenty of other artisits that portray her design as revealing, but if you can draw wonder woman's costume without her showing any skin, then you are a true artist.

I like it, although that seems like a pretty big-ass knife for Wondy to be carrying. Posture and anatomy are great, and I like the expression in her eye too.

You don't know how messed up that right rm of hes would look without Photoshop, regarding the blade it was actually supposed to be a sword known as a makhaira but I had no idea what size it should be. Thanks for stopping by
